We help our clients to bridge the innovation chasm between an idea, a concept, a problem – and making a solution real. We consider ourselves innovation doers as much as thinkers. Our goal and passion is to get things to market that really work. Fast.

We provide strategic innovation advisory services to large corporates and small technology businesses. Digital and mobile innovation, product planning and marketing, and go to market advice.

Alphero is the result of frequent discussions between Caroline and Kostia about finding a better way for businesses to clamber through-up-and-over the chasm of circular debates on new ideas and innovations that many organisations seem to get stalled by. And making them a reality.

We believe that no idea, channel (or product) is an island and one of our key focus areas is on the business or multi-channel context that the concept must function within in order to work.

On the side, we have our own product ideas and concepts, and at any given time we are working on getting one of these to market as an Alphero spin-out. Our current baby-in-the-incubator is a doozy and we cannot wait to talk about.

Caroline Dewe

Caroline is one of the world’s mobile gurus from scarily-early market evangelism days in the 90s for Ericsson; to launching world first mobile products and services for parking, security, banking, loyalty and shopping into a range of markets in Europe and Asia Pac.  Caroline loves elaborating product and business concepts (mobile or otherwise) and making them real. Kostia Shinderman

Kostia is one of New Zealand’s digital pioneers. Prior to Alphero he has delivered new channel business models, strategies and delivered digital transformation for the likes of BNZ, APN Media, Fonterra and Telecom Xtra in New Zealand; HMRC’s channel architecture and all of government CMS strategy in the UK. Kostia loves to visualise thinking in a way that makes complex concepts simple & evangalising the benefits of a multi-channel experience.

The team

We are building a team of niche, experienced specialists including digital strategists, user experience gurus, and mobile and SaaS solutions architects and developers. Our litmus test for joining our team? “Is this the person we would trust to deliver our own ideas.”

We put our egos aside when it comes to getting expert advice. If we don’t know something we go to the right people to get clarity.  Our own people are supplemented by Alphero’s Innovation Ecosystem (AKA “the Hub”) of niche mini-guru companies that we can call on to provide touchpoints of specialist advice into our projects. Our Hubsters range from creatives to mobile, CRM or Google product specialists. If we think data migration will be an innovation showstopper – we know who to ask.
