Hamish

Web Developer

Hamish has always been drawn to building things - a natural pull that led him into computer science and, over time, into shaping how systems work in practice. He developed interests in system design, computer graphics, and cybersecurity, and discovered he enjoys explaining ideas just as much as building them. His master’s research in anomaly detection using diffusion models deepened his focus on applied AI - particularly where it can be used to design systems that are both rigorous and genuinely useful. He’s especially interested in AI that earns its place, where automation cuts through noise and meaningfully improves how work gets done. Hamish tends to fix small frustrations rather than live with them - an instinct that carries through into the way he builds software. Time outside the day-to-day is split between the gym, bouldering, learning piano and making slow but steady progress through Nietzsche.
