Jeb’s instinct to build things started early, taking shape in homemade contraptions and the occasional dismantled electronic device, and has since found a natural home in software.

While completing an honours degree in computer science, he began creating tools shaped as much by curiosity as by intent. Those ideas begin with something he wants or needs himself, but the real reward comes when something he’s built proves useful to other people, too. That curiosity has sparked projects ranging from a fall-detection device built to alert emergency services to a Firefox extension now used daily by people around the world. Whatever the need, Jeb’s always up for a new project or experiment. 

He’s particularly drawn to the intersection of thoughtful engineering and good design - the chance to build digital products that are functional, beautiful and genuinely satisfying to use.
