But on the surface of things, this looks like a slightly better way to access the DeepSeek r1 model (if you can't run it locally yourself). As the DeepSeek model is run on US and EU servers without sending data off to China.

    It is still an orange status, as they still share certain information with US companies and partners.

The matches are delayed by two minutes ('cos the system needs some rendering time) and viewers get to hear the the audio & commentary from the actual match. I’m not sure what instigated the decision to do this but the resulting matches are pretty entertaining, Here’s a blooper reel - mostly as a result of the tennis players letting out their frustrations and the system being incapable of replicating broken rackets...

    So if you've upgraded to Mac OS Sequoia 15.2, you can get Apple Intelligence but need to opt-in via System Settings:

    1. Go to Apple menu > System Settings.
    2. Click Apple Intelligence & Siri, then toggle Apple Intelligence or click Get Apple Intelligence.

    It will take about 15 minutes to download the necessary tools for AI features like Image Playground, Writing Tools, and Photo Editing.
